CHILDHOOD

is a 90 minute full-length documentary about children and how they play on their own terms. An observational documentary that follows the children in Aurora Kindergarten throughout a year. These are children from 1-7 years of age. It is a quiet and close, life-affirming film. The film draws up a different perspective on what children truly need than what is the current norm. The film is a good conversation starter to explore the function of play in the child’s life and the importance of friendship between children. About safe connections and trust in relationships between adults and children. We are allowed to observe the secret play among children, the play we adults don’t always understand.

Pensar en la transformación y no tanto en la innovación

Una de las limitaciones de la actual ola de innovación educativa es que no tiene visión sistémica. El sistema burocrático hace todo lo posible para que la transformación sea imposible.
